Jon Vaala graduated from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (2010) with a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education and a Master of Arts in History from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (2015). He has taught history to both middle school and high school students at Liberty Classical Academy in White Bear Lake, Minnesota for over thirteen years and has taught as a history professor and guest lecturer at both Bethlehem College & Seminary and the University of Northwestern-St. Paul.
Jon and his wife live in suburban Minneapolis where they have three kids that they currently homeschool. Jon’s passion is to help students see the important impact of history on their lives and inspire them to use the subject of history to think for themselves.
